Bruce Lee, Chinese name Li Jun Fan, (conceived November 27, 1940, San Francisco, California, U.S.— kicked the bucket July 20, 1973, Hong Kong), American-conceived film entertainer who was prestigious for his hand to hand fighting ability and who promoted combative techniques motion pictures during the 1970s.
Lee was brought into the world in San Francisco, yet he experienced childhood in Hong Kong. He was acquainted with media outlets at an early age, as his dad was a drama vocalist and low maintenance entertainer. The more youthful Lee started showing up in films as a kid and was oftentimes given a role as an adolescent delinquent or road imp.
